Trained by a starred chef and with several years of experience as a chef in Honfleur, Cédric Auger is a local child passionate about the Norman terroir and the art of the table. After traveling across Europe, in 2018 Cédric Auger took over the reins of the gourmet restaurant Le Moulin Fouret near Bernay, bringing his modern touch. Driven by the energy and ambition that characterize this chef, a member of the Toques Normandes, in 2023 he opened his second establishment, L'Authentique, in Beaumont-le-Roger. This time, he offers a rather bistronomic cuisine, focused on gluttony and le share. Still Concerned about the preservation of his land and his producers, he works with fresh products, local and seasonal.

Distinguished and passionate
From an early age, from the kitchens of his nanny and admiring his cook son, Le Chief Christophe Rabault knew that the food would be his job. A native of Normandy, he made his debut and forged himself in les more large restaurants in the region (Barrière group). With this experience he was able to prove himself notably as a second at Fouquet's at Paris before becoming Master Rrestaurateur and to be at the head of his own business for almost ten years, in Orne, back home. Today il joined Chef Auger to take control of the kitchens of L'Authentique. These two passionate du terroir promise tasty cuisine that respects products and the seasons.

The gourmet restaurant at the Moulin Fouret offers modern, quality cuisine. All dishes are exclusively prepared with fresh, local and seasonal products (BIB Gourmand Michelin 2022).
Salmon cooked at low temperature, foie gras, fish, creamy vanilla risotto: the chef also offers a whole menu of dishes for take-away (catering service).
The restaurant welcomes you 7 days a week, for lunch and dinner. Booking is required.

THE LOUNGE
The lounge room is open every summer afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Finger food and delicacies menu is available to satisfy young and old.
In the shade of the trees, on the terrace or in the park, let yourself be lulled by the sound of the water and the song of the birds, or enjoy a moment of leisure with friends (Mölkky & Ping Pong table are available to our customers). Ideally located on the path of the green way, the park is appreciated by walkers who stop there for a gourmet and bucolic break. You will be able to discover the wheel of the mill, the farmyard, our beehives, the chef's vegetable garden as well as the many varieties of flowers which adorn the garden.
